  • Walks, hits, hbp, wild pitch. Ace material.

Fangraphs had a great article recently showing that nobody hates Sox prospects more than Sox fans.

I have a strong feeling Kopech is going to be dominant tonight.

7 IP, 1 ER, 10 K, 1 BB, one (permanent) call-up beginning with a start against STL next week

Edited by Jose Abreu

Jose Rodriguez 1-4, Samil Polanco 2-4. Polanco is 18, has a low k rate, and little power. He's now 1 of 2 players I find interesting in DSL.  Feels like Jeereck Francess never plays (however you spell it.)

I'm actually just as interested in Flores' start as Kopech. One of the players I follow closely and root for.

Rutherford not in the lineup. Though that was expected I imagine.

Kopech command awful again. Has walked 4 and counting in the first. I really don't see how he's going to go more than 3-4 innings in the majors right now

RT @RyanMcGuffey: Michael Kopech is FIRED up in Charlotte....he's getting flat out screwed by the home plate umpire.  Broadcaster just stated up has missed 4 calls already in top of 1st.  Steve McCatty gave ump an earful in mound visit.  #WhiteSox

Good to hear ump sucks. No surprise Grudz sitting there doing nothing.

0 H, 4 BB, 2 ER, 1 HBP in 1 inning lol

I don't know if I've ever seen a pitcher squeezed this bad.

42 pitches, 19 strikes.  Good ump/bad ump.....that's still awful. I feel this is the year of bad command throughout Sox org

That was a 3 up, 3 down inning if I've ever seen one

Ya know what? Good!

Let Kopech stay in Charlotte the rest of the year, and hopefully he shows up to camp next year ready to compete. If not, that's what the critical mass is for and he can be a dominant bullpen arm.

These two posts back to back...

Though I will say if he really is putting on a show out there, he still has some growing up to do. He will hurt himself a lot if he is showing up umps.

I don't think milb game day is very accurate with their balls and strikes. Been watching games live sometimes and have game day up and any ball will be put on the border.

Learning experience hopefully, as even he admitted earlier in year he had to work on his composure.

74 pitches in 3 innings. But six strikeouts! What’s his velo?!!!!

96-98 in the first two innings, 92-95 in the 3rd according to tweets. I assume he got pulled just due to ineffectiveness.

I was being sarcastic.
