      You can put down the Jose contract as another one that didn't work out for the Sox.  Sigh.

      The contract didn't work out because they didn't sign Jose to come here during a rebuilt and his trade value is zero right now.   If you think it "worked out" then I don't know what to say.

    Yeah, I've been the biggest Avi hater for a while, after doing a complete 180 from being a huge Avi fan. Now I've completed the 360. I used to think Avi's ceiling was Detroit Maggs when I used to be a huge fan. We might see that in the near future if he can stay healthy. He absolutely murders baseballs.
