Why must you continue to be such a great source of good cheer and optimism?

It's starts like this that make it harder to proclaim the Sox won the Shields trade.  With that said, I think he stays rest of year to provide innings and "leadership"

Hard to believe Volstad has been on the 25 since the 2nd week of the season.  He certainly hasn't distinguished himself.

And in games where the Sox are down 11-2, you have Benetti asking the 71 year-old Stone how his prom was.   Excruciating!
