I could see Eloy being called up but idk about Kopech...I feel like Adams and Stephens will get the call first. Kopech's game today wasn't necessarily "call-up" material, even if he did only allow 2 runs.

For me the best case scenario goes like this.

1) Shields traded

2) Volstad DFA'd

3) Covey moved to the pen in Volstad's spot

4) Kopech and Stephens called up to take the two open spots in the rotation.

5) Hamilton replaces Soria

Single and a double for Madrigal.  Zzz. Wake me when he has a 4 hit game.

Legit question, but can Madrigal be like a .330 hitter in the pros?  Someone like him should have a higher than average BABIP and if he never strikes out, his BA & BABIP shouldn’t be too far apart.

Sac fly was a pop up to 2nd base that the throw was awful on a risky tag. Thank you to runner for helping Nick's average.  As for the error, looks like it was a fluky play and not a routine throwing error.

Yep that's what one of the BA writers predicted (Avg leader and GG defense).  If Yoan plays to his potential, he would be the greatest number 2 hitter imaginable.

Yeah, I could dig this.  I go back and forth on Covey, but I would like to see Stephens get a look.  I’d also DFA Santiago and call up Danish to be the mop up guy.
