Prediction:  Ronstradamus does not make it all the way to meme status and quickly fades away from memory for not being bold enough.

1) Abreu supporters continue to deride Ron for riding Jose’s ass as he ascends again statistically.

2) Ron continues to increase third person self-references.

I think these predictions have a much better chance of being accurate.

I am just surprised Abreu is still on the team in 2019 in Ron's world.

I like this. The only prediction I might disagree with you on is I think Luis Basabe could end up being the starting CF when the 2021 season rolls around.

Unfortunately Abreu manages to kill his trade value before every deadline. Sox won't trade him for peanuts, and that is what he is worth tbh. He is a good clubhouse presence, so I imagine he'll stay.

over Robert?

With the amount of injuries he's gone through this year and limited time at A ball, do you have confidence that he'll be the starting opening day CF in 2 years?

Heck, even if he motors through the minors the next 2 years, at that point we could be talking about keeping him in AAA for a couple weeks to buy another year of team control.

I think hope is more like it rather than confidence.  IF he can put the injury bug behind him...I don't think it's out of the question.

God damn, Abreu is heating up as if on cue.
