He was clearly safe. Fucked by replay again.

Terrible review decision

It seems to me instead of getting the call correct, many times the replay guy just looks for one view that supports the call made instead of getting it right. There was no question Engel was safe, but one of the views made it look questionable.

 

i think it would be far more effective if the reviewer had no idea what the call on the field was.

You know MLB wants he Yankees to catch up and make it a race with Boston.  All close calls are going to go the Yankees way.

Agreed about review. It should be fresh eyes that make the call, and they do the best they can- not find a way to uphold the call on the field.

Great play and throw by Yolmer to cut the run down at home.

That’s a different story. If statistically they can show that high profile teams get more questionable calls, then they’d have to deal with that.

That pitch to Stanton was a beauty. His strikeout rate may be concerning to some but he gets them when he needs them.

Fangraphs sure was right about Andujar's defense. Awful.

Can't remember last time Avi actually got rewarded for busting it down the line.
