Diaz traded, where is hahn?

Featured Replies

Diaz traded to Houston for nothing, he would have looked good with the Whitesox , but that is hahn, what is new.

Nothing to get upset about but he wouldn’t have been a bad stop gap 3B.

You are correct why should I get upset this shows that the White Sox are getting Machado, not a chance these guys will never choose the whitesox, NEVER. YOU CAN PUT THAT ON THE BOARD.

28 year old utility player with a below .300 OBP the last two seasons. Meh...

How was this guy a fit for us?

Yolmer has been significantly better the last two years by fWAR, has more control and is younger.  I am muy confused.

Your opinion, just looked at the Astros fans responses, all realize they just stole him, we need to improve in anyway we can and this would have been an improvement.

We won 62 games last year, I am sure we could find him some at bats, if he is good enough for Houston i think he is good enough for us

Sanchez that's what

Houston is probably going to lose their high-end utility guy.  We have a better, $5M reserve IF in Yolmer plus an interesting kid in Rondon.  There is no fit here for us.

Oh no what will we do, Houston got *squints at notes*......Diaz.  Rebuild is over now

Hes not though.

It's not opinion. He clearly threw out some facts in his stats.

I guess I don’t see much of a difference and given Yolmer’s age / character he’s a better fit for us.

Thought he was talking about the M’s closer at first...

Come on guys, he’s got a point. Only the White Sox should acquire players because resources and roster spots are unlimited.

Who cares about Diaz? He isn;t even good.

Trent Thorton is more then I'd be willing to pay. Would you give up Ian Hamilton for Diaz? I wouldn't.

So did I, then I became incredibly confused when I saw who was actually traded.

What stats, 1 stat, by a few points, Diaz has a better ops, hr., Batting ave. , less strikeouts, all I was saying was he would have been a positive pick up without giving  up anything, we need to improve our major league team, and he would have been an improvement for the whitesox.

We probably have more need for the guy Diaz was traded for than for Diaz himself.

This is going to be our new Liriano, isn't it?

WHERE IS HAHN?

No offense, but reserve infielder should be amongst the lowest of priorities to improve this team.  We have a couple capable options and any potential upgrade would represent diminishin returns.  We have much bigger fish to fry and should be allocating our resources to those spots.

Are we going to have to go through this every time a free agent signs or a guy gets traded ? Yes our roster sucks and many many guys that sign with other teams or get traded might fit us . That doesn't mean Hahn is a sleep at the wheel . It just means there are 29 other teams that will be making moves We can't moan about everyone other teams get and we don't .  It's a total meathead reaction.

Yes.  Yes we will.
