Still in Camp F Bonds. See also Clemens.

  • Ultimately, how you feel about Bonds (and PEDs in general) is probably tied to your view of what the Hall of Fame should be. If you think it should be a shrine to the very best elements of the ga

Mussina is on the bubble.  Looks like he is going to either get in or miss by a handful of votes if the unknown ballots treat him similarly to how they did last year.

My opinion on Bonds is, if you don't think youre good enough to not cheat, why should I think youre good enough.

Moose is in. Dude was a beast

Glad Halliday made it. He is going to be a good realistic modern comp for today’s starting pitchers.

Yeah. Good thing writers are kinda veering off the 300 win thing. Cause in this day and age its impossible to get there. I really don't think we will see another in a long time

I'm surprised Halladay is getting that high vote %;  he really wasn't better than Mussina and Mussina struggled to get in.  Glad to see those 4 make it.

Halladay is prime example why you don't give up and a good arm pitcher that quick. Yes there's gotta be some fortune, good luck to it and good coaching, but goes to show you....

I think part of it is the back log finally starting to clear up.

A tragic young death always plays a part when human emotion is in play, that definitely helped his %.

Common sense?  Not sure what you’re getting at there.

Vote totals here.

I know its largely a terrible 1 to 1 comparison but pretty funny to think Baines is the worst hall of Famer ever while Rivera is being celebrated as a deserving 1st unanimous HoF while both are worth the same fWAR.

Halladay was a much more dominant pitcher and was more of a workhorse than Moose was.  Moose just had a longer and more durable career.

People will vote the death and that's fair. But Halladay was just a lot more dominant at his peak and that makes it easier to remember. Two time Cy Young and finished in the top 3 five times. Mussina finished top 3 once and of course never won one. I dont think he was ever the best pitcher on his team during the Yankee years.

Halladay was the most dominant pitcher for a good 5 year run. Mussina surely deserves it...but was never the best pitcher in baseball. Gosh I always wanted Doc on the Sox. At least MVP 05 baseball made it happen...

Wow.. I was betting my money Derek Jeter would be the first unanimous HOF, not Rivera.

Happy Edgar got in.

Fred mcgriff should be in. Dude played clean
