Given it is a 10 Day IL, I think that Gio's probably going to get a little break. I'd imagine Covey is going to get the callup to be the long man, with Banuelos sliding into the rotation.

Didn't they move it back to 15

Unless it's severe the last thing I want is Gio in his head for at least 15 days. Hopefully he's good for his next start

Why are we assuming he’s going to miss time?  It literally could have been just a cramp and they decided to play it safe.

Because it looked like he rolled his ankle and you can never be too careful with pitchers and leg injuries.

That’s good to hear...can’t be anything too serious.

I called it, left hamstring pull he's day to day.  On a warm day too, that's unlucky.  You could see him trying to stretch it out but as anybody with a hamstring strain knows you can't fix via stretching AFTER it happens.
