  • Look around the lineup, Jose, you do not need to try to carry this team any longer...take a fucking walk when they are giving it to you and let the actual run producers have a chance!!

  • ^Yoan Moncada circa July 2018 /s

Not when you work from home ?

COrdell is going to be that guy that comes out of nowhere and is useful. Mark my words.

Not gonna lie I thought moncada hit a home run there.

Please never bunt again Leury...

Go what's up with Benetti's Mt. Eloy call ? Is there an actual volcano with a similar name ?

Is there anything he can‘t do?

Going back an inning here, but what I like most about Eloy right now is the kid seems to adjust to what pitchers are doing to him really quickly.  That is the sign of a really good baseball player.

Also, does anyone know the genesis of Moncada's approach change?  Was that Yoan?  Was that Steverson?  Was that the new hitting coordinator guy?  I thought I remember Abreu trying to get him to be more aggressive last year.  Not sure if any reporter asked him about that.

You need to give Steverson credit, I believe. They made a big deal about Moncada going to AZ in the winter to work with him. But, the success is largely seems to be about approach, not mechanical tweaks. So it's Moncada buying into him too.

I don‘t think Abreu has ever looked this bad.

Stone said Abreu told him he thought he should be more aggresive early in the count and they looked at the numbers and he was way better early in counts rather than later.

I mean, my dumb ass could have told him what the change he had to make and did make.

Wouldn't trade Cordell for Yelich I tell ya.

From the front view I assumed he must have hit it at someone because he killt it but he put his head down almost right away so I thought he was mad. Then they cut to the outfield and, no reason to be mad at that.

He absolutely thought that was an out

Abreu and Alonso are absolute anchors on this lineup right now. Yeech.

Alonso went 4-4 with a bomb 48 hours ago

Jones is pathetic lol

Yeahhh nice chicken wing

That was the most blatant sticking an arm out I've ever seen (not joking!)

If Jones wants to get hit, next time he should get hit in the ribs.

This was pretty blatant. I only recall one instance though where the umps didn‘t give the hitter first base, IIRC that was Shane Victorino.

I really thought the Ump was gonna call that a strike (like he should have)

Fair enough.

Abreu is sucking enough, to account for 2 players worth of garbage.
