Dude, Sox are winning 4-1 on the road against the Twins’ best starting pitcher and you’re sitting here obsessed with last winter repeating the same shit in the game thread you repeat in every other th

Smart to bunt to get that early 1 run against a struggling offense

Renteria is a piece of shit manager, i cannot believe we have a literal clown in charge of this team. FIRST INNING BUNT

fucking DO SOMETHING RICK HAHN.  YOU CAN'T HAVE YOUR MANAGER BUNTING WITH MONCADA IN THE 1ST FUCKING INNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick Renteria is a fucking clown. I'm so tired of the crap he pulls on a daily basis

Omar is coming

Wtf is with Renteria???

From what I've heard Omar likes bunting more than Ricky.

Can ANYONE explain the logic of bunting in that spot ?

There is never a logical reason to bunt. Ever. The only thing it does is make your team less likely to score.

I love the bunt, but I don't love Castillo hitting 4th.

I am still worked up over that bunt, for some reason that is the most infuriating thing i have seen in years.

TV guys are explaining that Mancada was probably on his own bunting for a hit.

I hadn't really looked at this Twins roster before tonight, but it is seriously the scrubbiest looking thing I've ever seen. How did they compile this lucky shit into the best team in baseball a third of the way through???

Before this year, I would have ignored Kepler, Odorizzi, Perez, Parker, Harper, Buxton, Schoop, Cron, and probably even Polanco. I would have actively wanted Rosario and Berrios, but they're getting all-star performances out of every one of these guys. And their manager is rookie-leader-but-bigtime-bust Rocco Baldelli?

WTF. If Hahn gets one tenth of the return for initial expectations that the Twins have gotten so far this year, we'll win the World Series every single year from 2020-2026.

Ozzie bunted all the time in 2005 and we won the World Series. You cats are lucky I'm not the manager, Id be bunting constantly. I play Simulation Baseball sometimes and I constantly bunt. It's the best play in the game. Sacrificing yourself for the team. Small ball. Smart Ball.

He must be a good manager.

Taking the bat out of the hands of one of the best hitters on the team in THE FIRST INNING is absolutely inexcusable.

Eddie Rosario is really good dude.

That bunt lowered the white Sox win expectancy by 2%

finally effectively wild.

In the AL, if it's a tie game in the ninth inning and your leadoff man hits a double, bunt. Anywhere else, do not bunt.

Let the Twins get overconfidence early, maybe we can come back and sting them.
