EDIT: California

Could have fooled me. I haven't heard the term "gee willikers" outside of Minnesota, the Dakotas, Wisconsin and the UP. That term is uniquely upper midwest.

  • Hope Lester does not get 2 ft off the corner again tonight

  • I mean, how many sell out crowds have they had? 6-7? They won their home opener, beat the Yankees the first two. Lost to the Cubs now and a couple others. This take is nothing but recency bias every t

I love the armchair pitching coaches even more than the hot take meatballs though. He had no fastball command after the Yankee game? Are you people for real? He was cruising tonight with the fast

And there's the inevitable Barrett/AJ mention.

Giolito getting some calls tonight.

I am happy to get that called 3rd strike... but man... this zone is all over the place to this point.

Didn’t know Anderson broke Mabry’s ribs.

Giolito does not look particularly sharp and I really want him to have a good outing vs the Cubs.

Come on... double play ball

Giolito is fighting his mechanics tonight. Velo is down and he is a bit wild.

I feel like he's had a lot of swinging strikes.....just that last at bat his control was terrible.

Yeah, you're right. I'm just nervous with this game for some reason. I want it too badly

Len has a hard on to say 10 different ways the Cubs beat Giolito at Wrigley...had enough of him already

He looks fine.

If he was the pxp man for any other team in baseball you would agree, so don't be that guy.

Ripping on Kermit the Clown is a bit ridiculous when we have the Grand Pun-Master B as one of our announcers.

He had 8 swings and misses in the first 2 innings.

Most pitchers need 6 or 7 innings to reach that.

relax

I would just like to see our bats wake up early. Maybe Eloy atoning.

Kasper seems like the Cubs version of Hawk in his prime. Your home fans love you because everyone else loathes you.

Kasper is only a good announcer if you're a Cub fan.

Nice seeing Eloy slowing down before he crosses 1B.

The meatball in me is annoyed at Eloy smiling at the cubs bench

that's one of the worst errors i have seen in a long time

What in the world
