  • Hope Lester does not get 2 ft off the corner again tonight

  • I mean, how many sell out crowds have they had? 6-7? They won their home opener, beat the Yankees the first two. Lost to the Cubs now and a couple others. This take is nothing but recency bias every t

I love the armchair pitching coaches even more than the hot take meatballs though. He had no fastball command after the Yankee game? Are you people for real? He was cruising tonight with the fast

Jose Abreu, who has been somehow and unfairly pegged as a hitter who can't hit in pressure spots, drives in the Sox first run.

Not that I'm agreeing or disagreeing with that assessment, how is the 3rd inning a pressure spot?

Lester at 50 pitches so far is also good.

To be fair, it's not by all mostly by one haha

what's up with giolito's command lately?

Because the Cubs games are the biggest home crowds the Sox will play in front of this year and it's a 2 out spot with a RISP. It doesn't matter anyway though because no matter what he does it all comes back to this. I remember Thome was unfairly bashed quite a bit by Sox fans for the same thing

Hahaha it's like watching Carlos Gomez all over again with Contreras.

Lucas looked terrible against Rizzo and now Contreras trying to help Lucas out

Nice.

Very nice......good inning Lucas

He looked safe on the replay.  No challenge, nice.

Abreu looking a bit rough defensively, but luckily stayed with it.

lucas gets some extremely feeble swings on that changeup, quite hilarious to watch a hitters arms go one way and their ass going the other way lol

This is part of the order...

Jay, sanchez, cordell, tilson that has to do something for us to win tonight

The patented Yolmer triple down the line would be nice

What is Bryant doing playing right?

Lester better hope they never use electronic umps for calls. He'd probably need to retire at that point.

Good job Yolmer

I'd feel much better about the lineup with Tim today. DH Eloy and have an OF of Jay-Leury-Cordell and it would be alright.

Lester did not even move

If Cordell bunts that harder, it's a hit.

Loves me some bunting.
