At least we aren't used to the place.  Engel might have had a chance if Rondon wasn't barreling at him

Gonna need zero from Reynaldo and the bullpen if the Sox are going to win with that lineup. There's 2 free outs in that lineup in Engel and Rondon. There's 2 nearly free outs from Sanchez and Cas

Tired, shmired.  Their starting  pitchers for this series were unaffected.  Plus, they have the #1 pitching staff in the AL, while we have one of the worst hitting teams in the league.  And we're on t

Catch the damn ball.  Engel got a terrible jump and then Lopez throws an 0-2 pitch right down the plate.

How do you throw an 0-2 pitch there?  Just sloppy pitching.

engel's "elite defense" is one of the more moronic Sox Talk tropes.  He has a noodle arm and consistently gets bad jumps.  He's fast, cool, maybe he should have tried track.

That ball had expected hit rate of .220.  Also doesn't help that he plays everyone so deep.

he's bad coming in.  We haven't had a CF that can make plays going back and in since Cameron.  Leury stinks on balls in front of him as well.  I think it takes a natural talent to have the confidence to charge in knowing it might be a 3B or HR if you miss it and it goes to the wall in dead center.

The Australians are like WTF mate????

Yolmer!

OMFG Yolmer did something!?!?!?!?

Yolmer

Even the cameraman was surprised.

Yolmer will have to dump the gatorade on his own head if this lead holds up

Yoan, keep it rolling!

They called Engel up hoping he could hit I guess.

pronounced "might" for those reading out loud.:)

I was worried about Yoan.  If only all our players could have a "slump" that lasted about 30 PA.

Great hustle by Engle. I guess if he can catch and run he’s already better than Tilson (New Trier alum Incase you didn’t know)

Speed plays.

So was I. My nerves have subsided a bit due to Moncada being back. If Gio pitches well tomorrow I'll feel A LOT better.

I wonder if Tampa would be interested in Sanchez.  Might be a match.

that last pitch to yolmer was a cookie.
