How so?  Double was legit, Walker hit a line drive single and then Castro hit it hard.

Jay misplayed the first hit into a double. Cooper should have hit into a double play. Which led to Walker hitting a line drive that would have been caught. And Walker shouldn't have been able to score on that double.

Covey is just bad. The Marlins are a terrible team and they're lighting him up.

I understand they don't have much of anything else. That being said I can't stand covey.  He shouldn't ever start a sox game again straight trash!

what happened to his 2 seamer wasn't that the pitch that briefly shocked the world last year and allowed him to have some success?

Perfect game so far. 

Covey, still bad.  He’s a 3 inning longman at best.

I still prefer Covey, who looks like a major leauge pitcher sometimes if you squint hard enough, to straight up trash like Detwiler.

fegan seems as frustarted as I've seen him on twitter.  I think everybody's patience is running thin with this season.  We need Eloy and TA back ASAP.

I would prefer they actually see if Covey can be an opener for next year and use him in that role now instead of wasting innings seeing him get his brains smashed in as a true starter.

If anything this season has been a pleasant surprise. Key pieces are having breakout years.
