7/31 Mets @ Sox 7:10 pm NBCSN-CHI de Grom vs. Giolito

Featured Replies

Very nice start for Giolito.  I feel like he focused more on keeping the change up down in the zone.

  • "Giolito is reverting back to his last year self" has to he one of the worst takes on this board by some people.

  • And umpires don’t screw him over

Do guys get the rookie treatment in the NL or are these umps just so bad ?  I know Moncada's approach left something to be desired last year but seems like him and Eloy get a lot of terrible calls on

true true.. the guy is approaching 30 years old - what am I thinking!

If you want to never have any hope a player can actually get better thats up to you I prefer the opposite. It's like those who say the Sox won't sign a top FA . Without hope for a successful rebuild  why even bother watching? Just to whine about the present ?

Interested to see how James gets hit this inning

“James” and “hit” used in same sentence for first time in July

i believe he just told you to suck it

He did tip that

The knockout punch has been lacking for a while now. deGrom is a stud though.

I was just about to say he should get benched for not running that out but he did tip it.

I’m not so sure the Charlotte lineup couldn’t be as effective as this Sox lineup starting tomorrow

Always worried that Bummer is due for a bad outing.

Getting aced by deGrom is fine, especially without Yo.

Awful umpiring

Giolito going toe to toe with him was pretty awesome.

Nice Yolmer wow.  If only he could hit.

Great play by Yolmer

Bummer's sinker has ridiculous movement tonight.

How about an Abreu homer and a Colome save and call it day...

yea raise that trade value!  wait that's not right.

Ryan Goins hasn't made me hate him, which is nice.

My god Abreu sucks right now. Swinging at bullshit constantly.

I thought he was actually out at 2nd

Good for Goins making the most out of his opportunity so far.

Also Abreu looks terrible at the plate and has for awhile now.

Focus, Eloy

Eloy......good god man

Just awful
