swinging at the first pitch I actually don't mind.. its often a strike.

Swinging at each and every pitch that's farted out towards home plate, regardless of location is another issue.

That was Ruiz one good inning he has every month I guess

It's just enough to make you wonder if Ruiz can be something one day. 

There's no need to crap on Fulmer right now, as he actually looked like a Major league reliever yesterday. I know it's hard to do because of all of the crap over the last 3 seasons but people need to give him a clean slate. He looks like a completely different pitcher.
