No one in or around baseball call errors like these mental errors.

I do. Personally i think if the sox were in the playoff hunt, he would not make these mistakes

  • Again, why are you playing for one run with a tired bullpen?  Ricky just needs to get the hell out of this organization.

  • I agree with you all about Renteria. The two things he most controls, his decisions and the team's fundamentals - are both failing horribly. There's no basis for him to continue as manager of the Whit

When this team is in the hunt for the division title and he's still making a lot of boneheaded mistakes. Then consider it.

Alright that's fair. He definitely makes plays that are gold glove caliber. Like you said needs to get his head out of his butt . Hopefully he does and I'm wrong.

Detwiler... 5.2 2ER? Veteran stones right there to help the team.

Cordero gonna be the new Bummer. Seems like he's out there every game now.

Errors are the pitchers wins of fielding.

Nice effort by Ross. Too bad offense doesn’t get to face Roman Quinn.

It's a lazy physical error. His lack of commitment to technique is going to continue to show up until he commits to the craft.

You are putting a lot of confidence in Gabe Kapler with this statement

Pitched his ass off. Ricky played with fire a bit that inning but got away with it. Great outing by him.

Even Greg, critical of Detweiler, agrees and says, "Nice outing, sir."

70%+  of all errors are of the mental variety.

He's made boneheaded errors when a couple of our pitchers had no hitters going (I believe Miguel Gonzalez in fact had a perfect game at the time). Eh.. maybe maturity will help him down the line without trying to show off/play with flair in that instance.

You pull that stat out of your ass.  Most errors are on throws. Typically not on glove work.

We’re due for another “1/2” a hit the next three innings...

Yes, because he's in position to make the damn play.

Same thing with Moncada at 2B last year and at 3B this year.

Moncada's issue is much moreso with his throws. Can't count the number or errors he's either made a bad throw or Abreu couldn't scoop up the ball an average defensive 1B would make. He gets a bit of a pass since he's at a position he hasn't played in years too. I can look and personally see a potentially good to great defensive 3B there. Timmy... eh... we'll see.

And there it is...

Btw, look at Aaron SANCHEZ line tonight...

6 2 0 0 0 2 6

Stroman throwing a no-no?

Aaron Sanchez, he is out of the game though.

FWIW Sanchez had a no hitter through 6 but he didn't look great. He was throwing 92 in the 5th and 6th.

What do you guys think the chances of a bunt here are?

50 bucks on Ricky attempting a squeeze bunt

Nice job by Timmy

That was hilarious with Abreu and Jimenez

Fuck off Ricky. Love Stone taking a shot at him for bunting.
