Leury is an unsmart baseball player.

Been calling him De Aza Jr. for months now.

  • Too bad we didn't have a decent CF to call up in September ?

  • Watch more baseball in the Sox organization.  You wont be disappointed.  Base running I don't think is even coached.  I watched Zavala kill a rally last week.

  • That's disgusting and proves without a shadow of a doubt Avi woulda been great in RF this year. He's making something like 2.5 mill or 3 mill a year for gosh sakes.

Whole staff needs to go.

When the defense is terrible every year with different players on the roster, the coaching has to come into play

Leury scores if he just runs to home.

I'm still trying to figure out how he didn't score on Tim's sure double.

I predict Leury isn’t brought back and Yolmer is.  This almost happened last offseason.

Puig's arm is electric but I think Capra and company give him too much respect.

Seemed to not be going overly hard running to 3rd

This is fun bad

Lol Abreu. That throw wasn't that bad.

Fuck you Padres. Again.

Nova is throwing batting practice tonight. Hell no to bringing him back

Yeah, Reyes is going to be a problem.

Garcia having a game to forget.

Looked bad on three different plays and it's only half over.  I'll take Engel thanks.

I'd rather have Yolmer as a bench guy all day long.

I really don't care if Nova gives up 9 HRs in a row.  Just need the guys to hit well.

I think Leury would have scored.

Palka broke his own record.

He has reverted to his slow down the game mode.  Just hate pitchers who do that.  Fulmer does the same thing.  The more they pitch like crap the slower they go.

It’s because there are runners on base. Of course he’s faster when he’s shutting down the other team.

This would make zero sense.  The Sox will need to fill both CF and 2B until both Robert and Madrigal are called up a couple weeks into the season.  Leury has more value than Yolmer and will also be much cheaper.  The Sox will have Leury and Mendick as bench players.  I am confident that Yolmer will be gone.

When he is going good he pitches with aggression and is anxious to get after it.  Going slow he totally loses that I'm in charge attitude pitchers need.  Gio for example doesn't slow down to a crawl when he's in a jam.

I'm there with you now. I'm a big no to sinkerballers.

Probably not.  He's going to be around 2 bWAR.

You have Madrigal, who’s going to be your long term second baseman waiting in the wings. I predict that the sox will lock him up to a long term extension in spring training and he’s with the club on OD.

You have Mendick who offers more position flexibility and is a cheaper option.

I don’t see a a 2020 team with Yolmer on it.

I'm not very strong with this statistical stuff so can someone answer the following:  Since Palka doesn't put the put the ball into play does that mean his BABIP is sustainable or it isn't?

Another hit for Eloy.

Palka wasn't great but he went from being the guy with one of the highest exit velos in baseball to looking like Billy Hamilton with the bat. He hasn't hit a ball hard all year.

My Ga Tech boys, Skole and Palka, are the low exit velocity twins
