Yep, he stays and Leury gone

No way, Leury will make less than Yolmer is making this year. Maybe they trade him, but they won‘t just non tender him.

I'm a little worried Yolmer is playing himself onto the roster next year.

I still think he'll be non tendered but I'll never get the hate for him as a utility player. BUT, like Abreu, I feel Ricky will use him the wrong way and play him way more even with Madrigal next year.

A rare day Castillo actually helps the team?!

Castillo having the game of his life.

Sign him to a 3yr/35M extension Rick!

Abreu just grabbed a fat bag of Redman.  Do NOT tell Ron.

Mendick gets a real hit!

It was a dumb send by Capra but I can understand it. Hopefully see if the guy throws it wide and the kid gets his first RBI.

Disgusting. I hope he gets fined in Chicago sometime soon.

And then does that.  Cant go away fast enough...

Fire Nick Capra into another solar system

I've never seen a 3rd base coach that makes enough difference to get mad about, but we're getting damn close here

Can we stop sending guys when the OF is throwing the ball before we hit third? With our slowest guys?

Good for Mendick.

He seems fairly decent on the bases.

He's really not that big of a guy. Sure he's tall but everything I've read since they drafted him, as someone who does not watch any minor league games, you would think he was Jake Burger out there.

I hope Lopez gets 10 K's today.

I must applaud this level of trolling.

Lopez is incredibly frustrating this year. You have starts like today and starts like his last one, where he gets completely shellacked. He's wildly inconsistent.

One of the things I noticed about him today is he's changing speeds on his breaking balls. Maybe that's enough.

Let him go another inning Ricky! Only 86 pitches.

That a boy.  Give me 8 strong from Lopez today.

Is Lindor due up?

He's due 3rd in the 8th.

If he lets anyone on base, pull him. If Lindor was leading off it would be a different story. I'd say pull him on that case.

I've never seen any pitcher in my lifetime that is harder to figure out and evaluate than Reynaldo Lopez.

How can you be so dominant and so bad in such short periods of time?

Javier Vazquez. He did it within starts.

Hes at 88 pitches with a 6-1 lead.  He doesnt need to be pulled if someone gets on.
