I mean, I haven't followed him closely, but hasn't he actually been pretty spot on?  He's either really good at guessing, or maybe he has a source or two.

  • Worth noting that with regard to his outspokenness, he is still without a job.

  • I've never understood the desire to get rid of McCann or Collins, since, you know, we don't need to.

Trading 6 years of collins when mccann is a FA next year is a tatis tier move. a 2 fWAR starting catcher should yield a RP better than the scraps that were available this offseason. (see Tampa)

Why did this NOT Steve Cishek dude get booted from Twitter?  It looks like this is his second account?

I'd be good with Harris on a 2-year deal.

Also want to point out, the last season the Sox had a Will(ie) Harris, well....

Maybe there was a solid offer on the table. That's really all he said

I still find it interesting that movement happens with these players right after he tweets about them, dating back to Mazara

For the most part. No movement on Cishek yet and he tweeted about him 3 days ago

I feel like the Sox are going to get Cishek but I’d prefer Hudson.

Hudson by a mile.

Can I ask why?  Cishek has been better in his career as a reliever than Hudson and they are around the same age.

Hudson could check in as a closer in an emergency.

Cishek served as a closer for both the Marlins and the Mariners and has 132 career saves.

Hudson has 17 career saves.

Cishek has 132 saves over his career Hudson only has 17

Im starting to think he just likes Hudson more because he’s an ex-Sox prospect.

Beat me to it by like 5 seconds. Dammit lol on top of that he converted 33 in a row for the marlins

Yes, that's exactly the reason.

He’s more of a known name, just pitched in the World Series as well

OK, this whole Ceshek closing thing is old news folks.  I'm talking going foward.  Hudson feared being a closer.  The Nats trusted him in high leverage situations including closing down the stretch and he succeeded.  I have a feeling he will take off from there and be a solid high leverage guy for whoever gets him.

Ceshek is just washed up junk at this point.  I wouldn't trust that guy to pitch for me in the 8th inning.  Sorry.

No he's not.  Ceshek has had the better career and was on our local TVs for the past 2 seasons.

Need to look at this more not for what they've done, but for what you expect to get from them for the two seasons (assuming they can be had for a two year deal which after the Harris deal doesn't look likely).

Cishek had 6 saves last regular season.  Hudson has 8.  Your arguments aren’t holding much water.

He had a 2.95 era and was .1 WAR less this last season than Hudson. If he’s washed up Hudson is right there with him. Also, good thing we have Bummer for the 8th. Either one of these guys should be a 6-7th inning type of pitcher. If either are closing for the Sox then something has gone very wrong.

Cishek was over worked by Cubs last year

Again, you're missing my point.  Looking at this as future high leverage situations.
