Anyone putting Bassitt in the rotation over Reylo is crazy, imo. Bassitt is 31 years old and he had one decent season with a 4.4 FIP and 2.1 fWAR. That was in Oakland as well - one of the easiest

Delmonico big blast to left center!  2-1 Sox!

Nicky with the blast!!

Delmonico with the homer, making a strong case for the 26th man

Nick is auditioning for a spot with someone else; don't think he's in line to be on this roster but who knows?

Nickyyyyyy

Sheets is going to have all kinds of trouble catching up to big league fastballs.

Lopez is locating inside and outside well. This umps zone is shit.

If he could play more than LF or 1B he might have a shot at the last spot, but I agree, he has a better chance latching on somewhere else with a strong spring.

nice pitch!

All I'm looking for today:

Swings and misses on the fastball

Swings and misses on the off-speed he's been working on.

Don't care about anything but those two things.

Excellent curveball from ReyLo there.

I have the game on but haven't been watching ReyLo that closely, how do you think he looks so far?

get's out the inning.

I thought he kind of slowed his arm motion noticeably, but I could be imagining. Good break on it though!

ReyLo puts 2 on and gets the next 3 to escape unscathed.

I've been in and out of the broadcast because I'm working on a model right now, but I've seen some.

The fastball has been down in the zone too much, and it still looks a little flat but it's hard to say with it being down in the zone - easier to judge the life up in the zone.

His off-speed has absolutely had more bite/break on it so far; SSS warning though.

Edited by Look at Ray Ray Run

I'm excited to see if the new veteran pitchers have any affect on a guy like ReyLo to unlock that potential.

Collins draws a walk.

Collins draws a 1 out walk.

Nice AB from Collins there. Goes down 0-2 and patiently works a walk.

Collins at bats...

Strikeout

Walk

Blast

I really enjoy Collins ability to work at bats, and that fact that he rarely chases bad pitches. Now if he can pair that strike zone knowledge with a personal understanding of pitches he best drives (and attack those more) he could really become a nice piece.

Nicky Delmonico LF/1B

Currently making his case for the 26th spot.

He has battled adversity and is still standing.

Sox may want a lefty on the bench.

Biggest competition?

Aj Reed.

Best

Mendick GIDP.  inning over.
