I have to assume that the team drafted him with him being a starter in mind. I'd bet that he follows the Sale path and pitches out of the bullpen next season and then transitions to being a starter in 2022.

He should work on a third pitch. He can't be a long term starter with only two good pitches.

If he throws 99+ with a +++ slider from the left side he could be a dominant long term starter without another pitch. Not sure his stuff is at the level when starting though.

He threw a changeup his 2nd pitch first appearance...it was a mixup call with Grandal. It was Awkward for sure.

His write up on MLB.com says he has shown flashes of a "well above average" changeup.
