Yes, loved the interview, his approach and the fact that he has had numerous conversations with many of the key pitchers. He didn't want to give too much details on individual work, which would be premature, but loved his answers and think the White Sox can see significant improvements from at least a few pitchers. He did offer that he saw a few specifics with the video Lopez sent, and is working on things remotely with him in the DR. Offered his philosophy in terms of the physical (arm slotting / lower body) coupled with analytics. Very encouraging.
December 3, 20205 yr Sounds like Cease and Kopech are going to be the #4 and #5 starters unless Kopech starts in the minors but he sounded very excited when asked about Kopech. Wasn’t asked about Dunning. Edited December 3, 20205 yr by maloney.adam

I guess that’s where we have to fill in the blank with a trade or through free agency. Edited December 3, 20205 yr by maloney.adam

Well from the interview he did say that he can possibly help him get to the next level from where he is right now. That’s mostly what I what I was referring to but yeah I understand it’s the coach speaking. Edited December 3, 20205 yr by maloney.adam

December 4, 20205 yr Solid interview. He seems both very humble and coy. Seemed especially excited about what he can do with Dylan. I got the sense he was given a mandate from Rick because he seemed very nonplussed by working with Larussa or having to fit in with Larussa's strategies.
