I can't believe Burger is still this good after all of the injuries and lost years of development.

  • I got so excited that I committed a faux pas by creating the game thread at 5:30am, then to learn that was not my prerogative. This will be my first game since summer 2016 after spending four of

  • I don't get all the Goodwin hate. A left handed bat with a 129 OPS+, 130 wRC+, 12.9% walk rate 23.7% K-rate. What's so baffling?

Still completely baffled by Goodwin batting 4th.

Mullins made that look like it was gone.

Jake just missed it goddamn it

How did Burger's ball not leave? 110 off the bat at 31 degree launch angle. That's a barrel if I've ever seen one.

I say we give this Burger just one more chance.

I had that reaction to Vaughn's double off the wall yesterday. Seems like the dejuiced ball went too far the other way.

I almost wonder if a strong wind blew in just to knock that ball down. Mullins looked like he gave up on it.

The intention was to turn HRs in to 2B and 3B but they're turning into outs instead.

Lucas looked a bit bothered after that last pitch to Santander.

At 93 pitches, you gotta go get him if he allows another base runner.

410 to dead center.  Just hit to the wrong part of the park.

Yeah take him out.

Lost his feel for offspeed pitches

Vaughn just jumped 2" off the ground to catch a fly ball that did not require jumping.  Great play, right?

I know pitchers like throwing to him, but Collins is a disaster on defense.

Yikes

Lucas is fortunate to be facing the Baltimore Orioles and not the Boston Red Sox today

He’s clearly gassed

He's completely lost it.

Terrible at bat there for Giolito

Pointless to leave him in for an extra batter there. Also it was ball but the framing attempt by Collins on that 3-2 pitch was embarrassing

Tony ready to pull Gio.
