My guardian angel has found the name offensive and plans on lodging a protest.

Your guardian angel will have to wait in line with PETA (regarding the bullpen).

$ure wonder what $olution they came to with the$e guy$?

This gave them the perfect opportunity to go with the Spiders, but they are Cleveland and were determined to stick with their former team name embedded within the Guardians logo, not to mention the crap they already made. Long-term, the Spiders would have kicked ass with merchandise sales, at least as good as a Cleveland team can expect for sales not involving LeBron James.

That’s sick. Just in time for the new Spider-Man movie too, think of all the cross promotions they coulda done with Disney. They blew it.

They had to have the name Guardians so they could have the subliminal Indians in the logo. Some things never die.

Yes, it is similar the Southern states scrambling to incorporate the Confederate flag into their state flags after the Civil War.

Not the only instance of MLB catering to their dwindling target audience.

Located 15 Miles Outside of Atlanta is Stone Mountain, The park was officially opened to the public to honor the Confederacy and celebrate the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, 100 years to the day, on April 14, 1965.
