That inning completely changed on that terrible and late 3rd strike call. Leury gets on and Seby gets to bunt him over, which is something he's actually capable of doing.

I don't mind Seby as a backup.  He is good defensively...but he should get back to minors, work a bit more on his offensive game...but I think he'll have a long career as a backup. But with Collins as terrible as he has been - we are stuck until Grandal comes back.

Seby at least had a little pop in the minors, but he looks like Rafael Belliard up at the plate.

He's 27, has been in Charlotte since 2018 (3 seasons, 4 years thank you COVID), and put up a .630 OPS there this year/.698 over 3 years. He's a below .600s OPS player in the big leagues.

I'm not sure I have ever seen a player get traded and play the same day with that team even in the same city.
