Short Fast Season - Who Does it Help?

Let's assume a 120 game or shorter season. It could help teams with older players who might avoid a stint on the injured list. But it could also help younger teams whose players could be ready quicker.

Being short a starter would be more of a problem without some off days.

Hurts younger teams more due to the long term development lost imo.

Good point. I was more focused on this year and the team's opportunity. But it's basically 2020 only it's the owners who should be wearing masks.

Terrible for Crochet and Kopech.

Should help Grandal and Keuchel, as well as Hendriks.  Also protects Abreu from typical aches and pains.

Eloy, due to less opportunities to get injured....

For Crochet and Kopech, they will both be on innings limits aynway so in a way, a short season helps, depending on how short we are talking here though.

Yes -- everyone has fretted all offseason about how we are going to get Kopech through a full season on an innings limit.  Well, that may be solved for us.

Players who really worked hard in the off-season will benefit, young or old. Players will get less spring training which could result in more injuries.

Just cut games. If MLB cuts games in half ad slots become more expensive. They won't stop paying for it.
