I actually like the idea of Abreu hitting 4th just because he's a lot more likely to be smarter in a situation where there's a guy on 3rd. Grandal is a swing and miss guy despite his approach and eye. You do run into the likelihood that Abreu will ground into a double play though.

He already hits into a lot of them in the 3 hole lol. With Anderson and Robert in front of you there is going to be a lot of chances to drive them in and ground into double plays. My ideal lineup:

Anderson

Grandal

Robert

Jimenez

Abreu

Moncada

Pollack

Vaughn/Sheets

Harrison

Swing and misses leaders on '21 yikes

He Gone

I'm sorry but I can't take the Cease stache serious.

To drive runners in? I would say so. First two or three get on it is likely he needs a sac fly or a hit to drive someone in. It isn't like Grandal is a huge power hitter if that is what you look for in your clean up hitter

Grandal’s career ISO is 0.004 points less than Jose’s and he put a .280 just last year.

If Cease is gonna get that call on the outside corner like that...Detroit is gonna have a bad time.

I like Cease’s pace.

Earth to White Sox catchers and pitchers...don't throw inside fastballs to Haase. I'm not sure how we haven't learned yet.

Done seeing this Haase dude

Will say this til I die, I wish Cease would throw a change up more

Dylan just missing that outside corner.

I love me some Dylan Cease

Anderson can play tomorrow, right?

Cease's spin rate is down 177 rpm. Probably not using whatever sticky stuff he used last year, even after the sticky ban.

Believe so

AJ!

Pollock looked like he just hurt himself.

Time for Robert’s first bomb

Pollock looked like he tweaked his hamstring there. Hope I'm wrong.

EDIT: NOPE. I was right.
