TBF, Yaz took bad looking swings when he was still good. He needs his power back to have a come back.

I'm wondering if the lack of shifting will allow Yaz to keep his OBP respectable even if the power doesn't return. A ~.340 OBP if he's catching regularly will be quite valuable even if it isn't aesthetically pleasing for most people to watch.

It sure would be nice to know how hard everyone is throwing...

He will probably pick up quite a few more singles sans shift like he just did.  I'm just hoping for productive ABs at this point.

I do like that they are showing the pitch clock countdown.

Lopez is playing it real close on the pitch clock.

Terrific play all around there by Yaz & Andrus

Offense still dead as a doornail.

Nice tag by Elvis

And we have a pitch clock violation.

Relax Jack, it's the 3rd game of Spring Training.

Kelenic being thrown out by Yaz is just EP_CHEFS_KISS_EXPL_OFFPLATFORM.jpg?strip

I have a feeling the pitch clock is gonna decide a game or 2 this year. Relievers, especially closers, love taking their sweet time. I seriously hope they adjust the pitch clock rules in the last inning of the game.

I love how aggressively Andrus swings early in the count. You can tell he's looking to do damage

lmao Elvis Andrus is gonna prove everyone wrong isn't he?

Wow, maybe we will get 2022 White Sox Elvis...

Andrus picking up where he left off, but that ball should have been caught.

Rodriguez almost pulled an Eloy

Elvis almost takes one out.  Off the wall and goes for a triple.

If that supposed swing tweak is for real, that would be quite welcome at 2B.

TA doubles in Andrus.

Now do it again!

The only time TA pulls the ball is with RISP lol
