I'm starting to wonder if Colas changed his approach with the coaches in the off season work to try to cut down on K's. I mean it's great he's getting a lot of hits and not striking out but haven't seen much power and a lot of ground balls. Hardly ever getting the ball in the air. It's like he was working with Menechino.

spring training stats for a vet pitcher are worthless. I don't care if he didn't record an out as long as he got his work in and came out feeling healthy. most times a guy like cease is just working on anything but getting a guy out. which obviously is a 180 from a real game.
