Twins walked it off after a 4 pitch walk to the 9 hitter to lead off the 9th. Double > sac fly scores him.

Royce Lewis looks like the real deal

They should sincerely hope so for a 1-1 pick.

McKenzie back this week for them IIRC

Edited by Autumn Dreamin

McKenzie back, Plesac DFA'd

Plesac is a nozzle, but not completely toxic like the other two Cleveland exiled trio (Bauer and Clevinger).

Wouldn’t be opposed to kicking the tires for pitching depth the Sox could need, even if just to survive over the rest of the season.

Arreaz average officially up to .400 now.

I don't care if Pablo Lopez wins 3 Cy Young's, I will never not be happy that the Twins made that trade.

Though it does help that Lopez is now looking a bit meh after a hot start.

Everyone in the Central but the Sox lose. Tigers Score 0, Twins 0, Royals 1, Guardians 4, Seby 3. The entire division in 5 games mustered 8 runs. Pathetic.

Arozarena HR off Duran, Twins lose. Sox 4 back.

Twins have now lost 4 games in a row, first time all season at .500.   Sox just four games back.

Have to be worried about Correa and now Buxton seems to be out again.   Just not getting enough clutch hitting outside of Kiriloff, Polanco and Lewis again tonight.

While Lopez has improved their rotation, Arraez's .400 BA being out of that line-up has really hurt the offensive output.

Or hitting, period. They are on track to break the season record for team strikeouts pretty comfortably.

The last inning they scored 1 run aided by 2 HBP. They look dead at the plate like every other team in the AL Central. First team to start hitting runs away with it.

5 AL teams under .500, and four of them are in the Central. Wait a month…there will be five under .500 Central teams.

Sup?

Five losses in a row.

Rays definitely helped put Sox and Twins into tailspins...

Wheeler no hitting the Tigers through 7. He's at 100 pitches though, so likely to be done.

Feel bad for their rosy-cheeked rookie pitcher Olson, in line for another tough luck loss after 5IP/1ER.

That’s sad if true. A guy like Wheeler should be given the opportunity to get a career moment, even if it takes 135 pitches.

it’s over- but the point stands

Not with that contract and his health history.

Look at deGrom and K.Rocker with the Rangers both being out into 2025 season with TJS.

Jose Ramirez 3 for 3. All homers, and all of Cleveland's RBIs so far.

52 division games total this season. Sox have played half at 15-11.

Twins 20: 12-8, haven’t played the Tigers yet

Guardians 19: 8-11, haven’t played Royals yet

Going to go on record here. Ready for ridicule if wrong:

All Star Break-

Min 47-44 -, Cle 44-46 2.5 gb, Sox 41-51 6.5 gb

end of July-

Min 57-50 -, Cle 53-53 3.5 gb, Sox 47-60 10 gb

I will bump at the break no matter what.

I’m a schedule looker. No doubt.

Can’t see the Sox ever getting to .500.

Hopefully we’re selling and Hahn gets fired.
