Yaz and Beni are 1 and 2 respectively, in top batting averages on the team. That is a recipe for a 14-28 baseball team.

He would have been gunned down if he attempted to get to 2nd and he also wouldn't have scored on the following single even if he had been on 2nd.

He’s barely facing an MLB lineup today, but still - credit to Lynn on a nice bounce back

How are you supposed to drive the ball on a pitcher pitch ? The very definition of a pitchers pitch is one that's designed to not allow you to drive it. It's usually on the black.

Lynn looking a lot better today hopefully he can keep it up and that way we don't have to put in our crap bullpen till late!

We have Grandal and Vaughn, two of the slowest runners in MLB.  With them in play you need three hits to score a run.

By swinging at pitches you are able to drive and not swinging at pitchers pitches. That’s the point of my post
