Is it just me or does it seem like they have Lance in front of a green screen whenever they use the CF camera?

Looks all pixelated around his outline and nothing else is like that.

It's probably the green screen advertisement on the backstop. There was a Mets game last week where balls were disappearing when they crossed the plate. Advertising gone too far.

This ump is fucking Lance so hard. Can't wait to see the ump scorecard after the game. Someone's gonna get ejected soon if this keeps up.

Yup, now that you mention it that's EXACTLY what it is. You can really see it when any part of a player crosses sections with that ad on 1st base side of backstop. Especially when it's a quick movement.

Good catch and welcome to SoxTalk @nrockway!

Leads team in RBIs.

1 for 1 with a double run and RBI.

Does not compute.

a) the RBI stat is as close to useless as the Win stat for pitchers

b) he has below average power for his position, can't catch the ball, throw the ball, nor run the bases.

I stand by what I said, he sucks at baseball.

He's 25, in his first season at an actual appropriate position. If he doesn't improve over the next 2-3 years, I'm with you. Players reach peak performance at 27-28.

And while RBIs are lineup dependent, the Sox can use hitters who hunker down and knock runners in, especially with two outs like Vaughn delivered.

Is there anyone you like on the team? Anyone you think is actually good at baseball besides possibly Robert?

Sox don't have depth, but they do have a dozen players that are solid baseball players, with Robert being the best overall, and a good staff and bullpen that is rounding into form. They need to prove it in June against stronger teams, but these were the teams the Sox were losing against the past two seasons, so it's nice to see them not sink to the level of their competition.

White Sox still up 4-1 heading into the fourth.

What was that 10 pitches for Lynn? Much needed and good recovery.

Np Apple TV for me so it's a radio night. Great night for baseball! Go Sox!

NHL has something similar I noticed the other night during the playoffs. The entire boards were a nonstop eye sore because of the advertising

I like Frazier

Yandy Diaz is just amazing this year...

White Sox cruising at the moment.

Cabrera is such a drag on that offense right now.

There’s like 4 guys in that lineup that are a drag on that offense.

I was driving around and caught the first 2 innings in the car. Lynn really worked in those 2....if he gives them 5 innings that would be something

nice AB Luis. Laid off some stuff he normally whiffs at

Detroit Rock TRIPLE City!

I like Moncada.

I like Vaughn.

We thank him for his service.

The Sox are facing a LH pitcher today and will win handedly.

So it is written, so it shall be done.

Did I miss a Vaughn sucks thread? I mean it used to work for Jose.

Moncadas left handed swing  can be so pretty when it’s right.

The Apple TV broadcasts are a s%*# show from a production standpoint. And they literally extend the inning breaks for more commercials.

First three triple game for the Chicago White Sox since September 9, 2017 vs. the Giants.

Tim has reached three times so far, 2 runs his previous two appearances.

Yesterday - 3B: Yolmer Sanchez (7, off Josh Osich); Tim Anderson (4, off Roberto Gomez); José Abreu (5, off Roberto Gomez).

Today 3B: Benintendi (1, Wentz); Frazier (1, Wentz); Moncada (1, Englert).
