Funky cold Padilla.

This game is over, just waiting to see if they get shut out by a left handed starter.

WTF happened to Jimmy Lambert?  He had a swollen ankle. Rick Hahn is an embarrassment.  Tanner Banks and Nick Padilla are the first options brought up????  We have been healthy on the pitching fr

Are you f'ing kidding me? "You don't have the answer in all candor." My god, you put this shitty flawed roster together, as well as hiring the loser manager Grifol.  Why the f*$k don't you have s

No. The Sox are huuuuuuuge outliers in the lack of production they've gotten out of 2nd base since 2005. They're 30th in fWAR at 2nd base post 2005 and *12* WAR behind the 29th ranked team.

Stellar defense all around

The talent level on the current roster sucks

Reds' game seems like a freaking playoff atmosphere with Joey Votto back and him just driving in go ahead runs.

What, doesn't every team in their 'contention window' run out Tanner Banks and Nick Padilla on the mound?

Ummm...no?

So depressing.

The number of replacement level or worse players on the team right now is astonishing

They are seriously punting this game.  What an absolute embarrassment of an "organization".  Padilla is a joke.

The rebuild teams with Palka and Gillaspie starring were more fun.

Tres Garcias rule.

One of those games you just know going in you maybe have a 10-15% chance at best,  especially with how the Rangers have been going recently.

  1. Texas 44-27 .620
  2. Chicago A. L. 31-42 .425 14 GB
  1. Chicago A. L. 31-42 .425
  2. Oakland 19-55 .257 13 1/2 GB

This gap will be larger on Thursday, much larger after October 1st.

Don’t worry, JRod was called up to pinch run

So much for the Sox out playing the Cubs storyline of two weeks or so ago...

The talent level is pretty comparable at this point too

The effort is so awful. I can’t believe anyone pays to see these losers.

Absolutely beyond belief how clueless they are at the plate.  These morons can't grasp the simple basics of hitting. Robert Ks without seeing a strike.  He and Burger are an embarrassment.

Remember Sox Fans, Rick Hahn was not interested in Bruce Bochy last offseason. He was interested in Pedro Grifol.

That's all you need to know about Jerry and his mindset.

Like he wants to bring in someone that he can’t use as a scapegoat

And they're the two best hitters by a mile lmao

it really is pathetic

Bochy is awesome but he isn't the reason their hitters are all having career years. Surely their org overhaul went beyond the manager.

Not sure what that says for the rest of the team when Robert has something like 37 xb hits.

Rangers perfect example of a team that held GM accountable and then backed up next guy with almost unlimited resources to execute his vision.

I wish Robert had a clue at the plate but he doesn't deserve being lumped in with all of the other underachievers
