Weaver 2 RBI single, Burke 2 RBI double, Montomgery IBB (lol), Veras RBI single. Dash win 8-7. Burke with an opportunity to tie Montgomery's 2022 on base streak tomorrow. He's been on in every game this season, with the promotion apparently not slowing him down at all. Having Colson batting behind him now probably helps too, not that he seems to need it.
July 19, 20232 yr Montgomery has walked in one third of his plate appearances in A+, including 3 IBB. Clearly, no one wants to pitch to him. For the sake of his development, I hope he moves soon.

For the sake of his development, I hope he moves soon. Yeah he should move up to AA already. He needs alot of AB there. Dude is toying with A+ pitching it doesn't do anything for his development. Get him up to AA and then in the fall league. I dont think he will get to AAA this season even if he is mashing in AA as they'll need to use AAA seasoning as an excuse for next years service time.

The AAA season runs a little longer than lower levels, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him spend the last ~week there. Similar to Colas last year.
