That right there is telling of how unproductive the last 1.5 years has been.

I got people mad last year by saying 2030.  Now that looks optimistic if half of the talent still isn't in the organization.

14 members of the 2005 World Series team were not in the organization 2 years earlier.

How does that relate?  Is Getz pivoting to building a veteran team in one offseason?

There is a high level of turnover on baseball teams from year to year. Especially during a rebuild. Weird how people who agree with you complain about all the guys on this team who won't be on the next competitive team, but don't get that a good half of the next playoff team might not even be in the organization, yet.

Maybe you should just stick to calling Reinsdorf cheap every 15 minutes. That seems to be the heaviest logical lifting you can do without pulling something.

Better than lifting and carrying water for the worst GM in baseball.

Yeah, that's not happening. I'm carrying water for logic and reality.

If there wasn't one year to waste...then the 2026 White Sox should be on the verge of the WS lol.

Ofc thos year's Sox team doesn't have Konerko Crede Rowand Buehrle Jon Garland Cotts and Marte already rostered...and who will play the role of Jenks?

Grant Taylor?

You keep putting Taylor in the bullpen. Why not Pallette?

Because Taylor has the most potentially dominant stuff in the system...

But it could be McDougal or Oppor I guess...

Jesus, so Getz is getting 5 more years with this rebuild?

Half of the next playoff team haven’t been born yet.

That bucket he’s carrying seems to be loaded with holes in the bottom.

If Getz had done a good job in his previous roles and current role, he'd have a young outfielder to play right now rather than Palacios and Taylor and Maton at DH.  That's simply embarrassing.

Three of their outfielders are injured. Go ahead and be embarrassed. I'm not embarrassed.

And Getz was supposed to spare us all a wasted year...

Yeah, you missed the point entirely.  A rebuilding team shouldn't be entering a season with the grand idea of a Tauchman/Slater platoon.

Baldwin is looking better than any of the corpses Getz brought in, and that's saying something.

All because Getz’s guys are so unplayable.

Exactly why you don't jump to sign old vets just cuz you think you are getting a deal at $2 million per old bum.

Slater was Getz's #1 offseason target.  He even said so.  LOL, what a moron.

You have no point to be missed. Yeah they should. Age is the new market inefficiency. They should be filling gaps with cheap 32 year olds. They're not blocking anybody.

Yeah, Getz made some real steals with Rojas, Tauchman, Slater, and Taylor.  Old guys that can’t stay healthy.  That was $10+ million down the drain.

You seriously think those were good signings by Getz?

The only thing worse than those signings was him trading young players for mediocre old relievers with no history of success.

Ah yes, and it's everyone else who is wrong and not seeing the truth.
