FutureSox: Mock Draft 1.0

Featured Replies

That would be one heck of a draft for the Sox.  Well done.

Interesting read! I see 4 dudes from Wake Forest projected to go in the top 15. That is insane! Looks at Draftkings odds and contemplates putting all the kids college savings on Wake Forest to win it all this year.?

Carlos Rodon and Trea Turner together didn’t exactly turn NC State into a dynasty.

Quality depth is so important.

But have you considered that I, someone who loves oddities, very much wants Jac.

Just kidding (not about loving oddities like Jac), Griffin looks like he could be a monster.

I love Griffin.. And isn't he also just 17?

Love it. Griffin sounds and looks tantalizing as we've discussed in the draft thread. Dude needs to chill a little bit so he doesn't play himself into picks 1 - 4. Thanks.

I’m very interested in seeing what Brody Brecht does this season for Iowa. If he shows more polish in his 2nd year as a fully dedicated pitcher he could shoot into the top 5. Obviously risk involved, but the sky is the limit for him

Would 2 HS picks that soon work under the caps?

They'll have plenty of money with their extra pick.

Oh right.  One more pick to work around some cash with.  Good thinking.

Draft the top end high school athletic talent please.  Like this!
