Touki has no options left, bad timing to be brutal in Spring Training. Hopefully he can clear waivers and possibly work things out in Charlotte.

This bullpen would work on OD:

  • RHP
    • P. Berroa (24)
    • J. Chavez (40)
    • D. Garcia (25)
    • J. Leasure (25)
    • D. Leone (32)
  • LHP
    • T. Banks (32)
    • T. Hill (34)
    • S. Peralta (26)
  • AAA
    • LHP B. Horn (26)
    • RHP A. Speas (26)
  • IL
    • RHP J. Brebbia (34)
    • LHP S. Drohan (25)
    • RHP M. Foster (29)
    • RHP C. Knebel (32)
    • RHP J. Lambert (29)

Is that the new announcer Schriffen on Eloy’s home run?  Whomever said he was going to have calls that sound like he is still announcing SlamBall was spot on.

  • I like the little that I’ve heard from him. The homerun call he sounded like he was caught napping with Chuck having taken a segment… But overall, he’s fine. Our version of SlamDiego. ?

Why did he put Touki out for the next inning? Is he trying to get him on the 60-day IL so he doesn't have to cut him?

I hope its just because they only have a certain allotment of pitchers they want to use in the game and not because he thought it was a good move...

Right. Touki is probably the long man/spot starter so they need him to get his work in.

Nobody wants to see Nicky fucking Lopez bunt there Stone...

Recovering from TJS.

It's possible. Several early injuries helps his chances stick with the team.

Think they are bringing up six SPs, unless Crochet starts in AAA. Leasure can also start in AAA, with Berroa, Banks, Horn, Peralta and Speas having ML options.

Are Sox pitchers particularly bad at holding runners or is it just me?

Yes

So maybe this dude isn't a 3 inning guy...

Not sure who is on the call, but had to mute the brief Eloy HR call on Twitter.

So glad to listen to Len and DJ beyond the games Len fills in on TV.

-31 RS/RA

Still making way too many mistakes on defense.

9 walks on Sox pitchers.

Trade Eloy becomes a realistic clarion call at least.

One of the funniest shows of all time. It's too bad it was buried on HBO at a time when not a lot of people had it.

I cut the cord after the final episode.

My parents had one of those old school huge satellite dishes and once a year some dude would come over and "program" it so we got every channel free. Those were the days.

Nice outing for Berroa there.

If DeJong is going to have a dead cat bounce of a season, that could be a nice pick up.

If DeJong was just a bad hitter last year, I’d have some faith in a turnaround.  But he’s been awful with the bat since the end of the 2019 season.  He is what he is.

Nothing has really changed yet despite the massive overhaul.

Toki is having a rough spring to say the least.

All I ask is the ability to call a no doubt HR a no doubt HR off the bat by the time he's got 100 games under his belt. Jason never figured it out.

I think his cerebral palsy impacts his eyesight.
