  • AKME gonna try to turn in their 100 2nd round picks for a top 3 overall pick like they're at the prize counter at Dave and Busters.

I had very low expectations and that is somehow still lower than them.

  • The Kings really saw the Bulls roll out Zach and DeMar for years and said "we'll do that "

Even better - 2nd yr is a team option.

For once trying to be mid might prove useful.

Depending on how Caleb plays out the gate and Matas' improvement, this could be a fun squad.

I expect them to be bad - hope is this keeps us out of the relegation. If they surprise, great, than you have flexibility with these deals to have capacity to throw in chips at the deadline (or in the off-season). If it takes a bit longer, you pull the options on these deals and you basically do another year of stacking assets and have max cap space and flexibility in 2 years (the only wrinkle is that awful Patrick Williams contract).

But this year is basically development and stacking more assets, assess than next off-season if you want to start moving chips in..then great, if not, do it again and they have lots of flexibility in how they do it and get another year.

Note: If they are sitting in 7 spot (like in terms of worse teams) or something and Powell is playing good - he should be very flippable for an asset and you can do it knowing you should be out of the relegation zone.

It's crazy talk, i know, but i really think they can be a playoff team. Assuming Powell's play doesn't fall off the cliff, he's the perfect fit at the 2.

We've heard it before, but supposedly Williams is looking good in the off-season(whatever that means) too. I'm not counting on it, but there was a 2 year stretch where he shot 40% from 3...If you can get that again he has his place on this team.

They have 9 mill left to use on new free agents....theoretically they could use that 9 mill and THEN resign Simons/Sexton IF they wanted..... They also have a few trade exceptions which can be used to go "Over the cap," one of those being nearly 18 mill.

Pat is the one player I'm confident will not contribute.

I don't think Pat is gonna do anything he hasn't been doing the past 5 years. He is what he is at this point.

I do think that they have a decent shot at making the play in. There's surprisingly a lot of depth on this team, much like last year's team. So much so that they probably want to dump some players so that Swain and Wilson get more playing time.

Caleb Wilson is him.

Whole top 4 is showing out early.

It’s just summer league…but that 3 ball from Caleb was smooth. If he has figured that out oh my….

While I admit I like a lot about what I've seen from Wilson in SL - really the main thing I like is fact that his 3 ball looks improved in terms of form. The stats are whatever. With Essengue, I think my view is, he's out on the court playing - and quite frankly he hasn't done it in a long time - so I can't really look any more into it than that.

The downside of his injury was, he was really really raw to begin with, and then him losing basically a year last year only makes that journey harder and the type of injury he had - also prevented him from really doing what you'd have liked in terms of working on his NBA body (at least from an upper body perspective). So really this might as well be his rookie year (or even a bit less than his rookie year due to the rust).

The article Kyyle linked above was good - didn't say anything we didn't think about when it came to the past regime. I'd also caveat what we hear now, but I'll at least take some early signs of progress. But anything would basically be a step up.

Swain just can’t shoot at all

Wilson's supposedly practicing 2,000 - 2,500 shots a day now. He’s going to get better...as long as he maintain that same work ethic and discipline.
