Cannon throws way, way too many pitches down the plate. Doesn’t look like a major league pitcher to me.

He was good playing a Little League left field in Fenway.

Cannon’s change up got rocked that inning, and interestingly enough, it’s easily his lowest valued pitch according to fangraphs

Sox have to have had the worst major league scouts. So many wrong decisions on players who were already in the majors. It’s why almost every free agent acquisition implodes.

Tommy Pham has no business playing RF.

He can square up with the best of them, but unfortunately has the upper body of a sedentary tween.  The fact he is the biggest free agent signing in franchise history is an embarrassment unlike any other.

It seems like we went from having some of the best pro scouts during the prime KW years to the worst under Hahn.  And I’m greatly concerned about Gene Watson being the one to right the ship.
