WTH is Kopech doing that on purpose. I realize with men on base u want to use the slide step but 3 times he balked now by catching his spike. Someone tell him to lift his damn foot a little higher on the slide step.

  • Are you sure? I thought 11 plate appearances sealed his fate.

Baldwin looks like the before/Lopez looks like the after in one of those anti-meth ads.

A baserunner can steal a base during a foul tip in baseball because the ball remains liveIt's similar to a swing and miss, so baserunners can advance at their own risk without needing to tag up.

So if a guy is trying to steal and it is tipped, drop the ball so they can't steal ever.

Correct, because that is a foul ball.

The last few innings have been some of the worst at bats imaginable.

Sheets at bat was particularly horrendous.

You're supposed to know baseball. He's faced guys on base plenty of times probably wearing the same spikes he always has.

This started once he started trying to mix the slider back into his repertoire. It's a slide step issue. That's on his left leg not picking it up enough to get extension. Which knee was giving him trouble last year ? Left or right ? Both ?

DeBong hits brings joy to all.

DeJong and Pham are going to help a real team. Hope we can at least get a lotto ticket for each of em

That was statistically very unlikely

Long dong DeJong blasted that.

Leave Kopech in for 9th

Lopez with 3 walks probably had shot at 4 if he didn't decide to be a hitter in his 3rd AB and swing at crap below his ankles.

Baldwin looks like a freshman highschool player. Maybe i'm just getting older

El Cabong DeJong strikes again.

Let's hold em and go home.

Not older...better. And yeah, he looks like a kid.

Did you ever see the before and after photos for the actor who played the goalie in The Mighty Ducks?  He looked like he aged like 40 years in one year.

What’s better from a deadline perspective…a clean 9th from Brebbia or a Rangers win?

Regardless of how he pitches, Brebbia has a top tier beard. He can always be a lumberjack if pitching doesn't work out.

I'll happily give him a ride to Saskatchewan.

Do you think we might be buyers if we win tonight?
