The Royals rushed Witt. He was on the team in their 100 loss season.

Who was the best prospect in baseball...not unlike Holliday this year, who has struggled mightily.

Montgomery isn't ready yet.

The trade was going to look lopsided no matter what we traded. Kopech sucked and we needed to move on. Everyone knew he would pitch better somewhere else.

  • Nightengale is generally derided as a hack, until he writes a negative sentence about the White Sox, then he becomes Edward R. Murrow.

  • Kopech had a near perfect July and another year of control. There was no objective urgency to move him.  it’s like Getz is getting advice from the people he’s trading with. Ridiculously naïve.

Whew

And they let him off the hook!

I think he will fall apart by the end of the year as the heat rises.
