Whoever wrote it sure seems to know what he's looking at and the changes he thinks could lead Gilbert to be more effective against RHH.

Of course suggested changes are not easily mastered which is always a problem with projects. But if his changes are in line with Bannister's thinking I guess we'll find out.

Per White Sox, infielder Braden Shewmake was claimed off waivers by the Royals.

Also, outfielder Corey Julks cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Charlotte.

I was hoping Julks would be gone for good, but apparently only Getz ever wanted him last season.

It was weird the Royals claimed him in the first place. 

 

We have signed RHP Carlos Estévez to a two-year contract with a club option for 2027.

In a corresponding move, INF Braden Shewmake has been designated for assignment.
