My point isn't that Henderson is now bad, it's that offense does go on a 2 day vacation while you still need top level starting pitching in the playoffs.

The Royals hardly scored either...both games were incredibly tight.

You do know you don't have to hold on to hurt feelings for years just because someone disagreed with you on the internet,  right?

  • As admin, why are you advocating shutting down Soxtalk?

Yep, which is why the Sox need to start shopping from the upper tier of free agents instead of the bargain bin. Orioles are pulling a white Sox and shopping from the bargain bin. It’s scary how reminiscent their rebuild path is following the most recent white Sox rebuild.

in fairness to the Sox, I'm not sure that Jerry has ever made himself into a bobblehead.

You think that's bad? Charlotte's NBA team used to be named after Robert Johnson and their next owner made them wear his clothing brand on the court.

KC struggled all year. Depending on health, their line up was like 2.5 guys.

Definitely a team that benefited playing the worst team in history 13 times last year. Did not belong in the playoffs.

Tigers too.

Eflin is underrated by most...and there's this player named Gunnar Henderson who very might well be an MVP if not for Witt/Judge.

That can make up for a lot of shortcomings.

They can, but then they get dinged again because their division is gonna be a bloodbath. Their causal approach to the offseason (thus far) would be less of an issue if they were in one of the central divisions.

All-time flex made even funnier by how awful the Bobcats-era was.
