“She, for the record. And I guess I will never for the life of me understand why, if you know they're all bad and it doesn't matter what they're working on anyway, anyone would bother tuning in to a radio/gameday feed of a Justin Anderson inning vs. the Rockies in February in the first place?

Like I'm tuning in to ST because I do think it matters what the players relevant for the future are working on, but there's literally no room to have that conversation.”

I honestly didn’t know it was a female poster until I re-read her posts…assumptions assumptions assumptions.

At least for my part, I will jump on the Shane Smith bandwagon this year and pound that particular drum…just because it’s always more fun to have an underdog to root for.

Look, when you have a decades long season ticket holder telling the organization to f*** off, the problem isn't if the fans are big enough fans.  Most people get that.

Baseball wise we actually have very similar views . As an Admin Texsox is one of the best, he never belittles anyone.

Once again you're wrong but congrats on having someone teach you AI to improve that horrible writing style you've inflicted on us. 😆 But really, thank you.

Each admin brings something a little different to the mix. And like every poster here, each admin goes through stages where the general frustration with the team seeps into every interaction and post. I went through a "fvck it, move the team" phase until someone pointed out that's really unfair as an out of town fan. So I knocked it off. Other mods have done the same thing after it's been pointed out.

The major conflict these past years happen when a poster is genuinely happy about something or someone with the team. Then we have to beat that optimism out of them. 😁

If things go well in the minors this spring, my optimism will skyrocket into positive

territory by July. Sure we'll still suck the rest of the season. But as the Brooklyn Dodgers

fans always said, "wait till next year".

That wasn't the Cubs fans?

Well I guess I’m a bad fan because I will not go to games until they start trying to win. On the other hand, if going to games makes you a good fan, I’ve gone to well over 1000 so I’m probably a better fan than anyone here.

I still watch the games, but am not engaged like I was. Hopefully, someday I will again. I love baseball and the White Sox, but have had enough of the total incompetence. I’ve been a fan my whole life. Had season tickets since the last year at the old park. Having to be good was never a requirement. I saw plenty of bad White Sox teams. This downward turn was very different though, and they have lost me until they fix it.

Why would you say you are a bad fan? Everyone does it the way they want.

For what it's worth, I've heard from a lot of respectable people with a lot of knowledge inside the baseball business that the Sox are building the right way this time. They are bringing in the right mix of coaches, players and directors, and their methodologies are improving. I think Chris Getz has the right idea for how to right this ship.

Now we just need TLR to leave and Jerry to sell to Ishbia...both of which will probably happen at the same time 😆

Shows how little you know.My grudges are reserved for people who treat other people on the board like s%*# while pretending to be the protector of all things . How can anyone champion civil rights, women's rights etc yet make fun of other posters writing styles or lack of knowledge, or differences of opinion and encourage  other posters to do the same thing by his behavior thus created a climate of disrespect. He insults people all the time. It is not playful banter nor boys will be boys behavior . It is primitive, childish, behavior think as I do or be ostracized, creating an "I'm a jock you're a nerd", or worse, a Lord of the Flies culture in here. You have quickly followed in his footsteps .You're like the little brother who idolizes his big bro because he's so cool and acts just like him.

Autumn Dreaming one of our posters who posts great content mostly in Future Sox because she was made to feel unwelcome in Pale Hose Talk recently because she dared question the negative hostility in here and SS's gestapo tactics quickly put her in her place.

Baseball wise we actually have very similar views . As an Admin Texsox is one of the best, he never belittles anyone. SS abuses what little power he has. I know there are quite a few other posters who feel the same way if he hasn't driven them away too.

It’s a bit strange that you care this much about people on a message board that you will more than likely never meet in person.

Also, no one put Autumn Dreaming in her place.  Go back and read her posts.  She was basically complaining that people were negative about the team.  So apparently you should only ever be happy-happy-joy-joy about the Sox and can never doubt them, even when history has shown that the doubters have been right more often than not?

And Gestapo tactics?  LOL.  Is SoxTalk a concentration camp as well?  You know, you aren’t actually being forced to logon to this site and be punished and belittled as you claim.
