Jankowski is a lefty. As much as it hurts to say this, I think the OD left fielder for a major league team is going to be what’s left of Michael A. Taylor. On paper, this team looks like it will lose 160 games.

Is Michael A. Taylor related to Stephen A. Smith?

Cannon has faced 10 batters: 5 singles and a HBP so far. Hopefully this is an Arizona thing.

He has a bad habit of putting pitches right down the plate.

Now 12 guys: 5 singles, 2bb, HBP, line out for a double play and a CS. The Giants OBP so far is .666

Cannon is out. 2.2IP 6H 3R 3ER 3bb HBP 1K. Maybe 2 cheapish hits, but a lot of balls hit hard. Dalquist came in and walked a guy. In 3 innings, Giants have had 11 baserunners. 3-0, but could have been worse.

I know historically pitchers who rely on breaking pitched rather than velocity don't do as well in Arizona.

Cannon faced 2 more guys and got them both out. 3.1IP with same stuff as above. ERA went down after this outing.

Booser faced 6 guys and walked 3 of them. MiLB afterthought Mark McLaughlin is in.

McLaughlin walks a guy, but Giants strand bases juiced. 8bb so far, Giants have stranded 11 through 5.

Sox have 5H, Drury has 3 of them. So far 0 XBH by either team.

Plus that home park for 81 games at home suppresses offense.  Otoh, they can't get any huge FA's to sign there, either...for that very reason.  They'll get a Chapman here, an Adames there, but the really premium offensive guys like Judge and Soto have zero interest in playing there.
