What is the prediction?  They don’t have any other options, lol.

I predicted he was going to be the starting shortstop over a month ago before any of the injuries.

Even until yesterday it looked like someone else, Meidroth

The search engine shows March 6th which was after Colson Montgomery was held out with back spasms on February 27th.  Also, Meidroth didn’t hit all ST and is more of a 2B than SS.  There really was no other logical option with that knowledge.

Ok, fine. I retract the statement I ever said anything about it.

Amaya was only ever the real option as everyone else sucked all spring.

I'd prefer Baldwin to start at SS, fwiw.

Also, who came in to relieve Thaiss at catcher in this game? Because the wheels are falling off back there.

We still don't have a SS.

Maybe one of our many highly touted catching prospects can play ss and we just pray the ball is hit to them within 2 feet of either side every single time.

Meidroth hasn't won it.

Neither has Amaya.

Just go with Baldwin...we already started his clock prematurely last year.

Or Maton.

This is one of the strangest posts I’ve ever seen on this forum, and that’s saying a lot.

SS and C are basically interchangeable. Tim Anderson blazed this trail years ago.

Exactly. Ron Washington has him playing 2B and CF. I'm  like, you're ruining this guy's career by not putting him behind the plate. Such a shame.
