Beni is our only good hitter (even tho he's around .240). I don't believe in Robert. He's another flop like Moncada and Eloy. I'd like Beni to be my leadoff hitter if I was a contending manager. Yeah a bit overpaid but the guy's gonna hit between 20 and 25 homers, knock in a lotta runs if he bats sixth. Maybe his arm blows and will cost u games there. But Beni is the only guy on this team I currently like cept for Mr. Meidroth of course. Each and every pitcher is a LOL to me. Maybe Quero will be likeable soon. p.s. Eloy has one HR in 88 at bats in Durham this season. Yikes.

Shane Smith and Booser are at least great "human interest" stories....and Smith can throw 95-98, touching 99-100 on occasion.

I haven't followed their stories yet. Still can't believe we only have five wins so far. Seems like the team has played better than that. You have to admit, however, this pitching staff is way worse than last year's which is kinda scary in terms of total wins cause our starters are limited to about 4 innings and change.

You can't lose a possible Cy Young winner AND Top 20 fWAR guy in Fedde and expect improvement...especially when you will refuse to bring up your three best pitching prospects due to service time considerations.

Not one of the big 3 are close to being ready

Bringing even 1 of those 3 up right now would be insane.

And one of them is already being talked out of the rotation.

Sugano has settled down since...James Wood on a tear, though.

That James Wood shot was unworldly, straight pull with an almost 117 exit velo.

The Padres with him and Gore would be much better…along with CJ Abrams.

But the allure of Juan Soto was just too tempting for AJ Preller, striking a blow against Dodgers’ hegemony.

Like fathom said, make him the Director of Operations if you like his ability to turnover the operations of the team, but he is absolute s%*# at assessing and developing talent.

Don't they have scouts for that?

Don't forget they had Fedde ans Crochet for a good part of last year.
