Sorry, I'm gonna keep going because the team on the field is such a walking embarrassment that Getz deserves to be roasted over a volcanic flame.

Acting like he's the first GM to have their hands tied in the history of the sport is laughable. The Rays and Guardians are infamously miserly and succeed, in large part due to their farm system. Sox couldn't get anything from theirs - and guess who was in charge of it? I don't want to hear that he had his hands tied blah blah blah, because then his entire hiring process just makes him out to be a conniving little weasel whispering in Jerry's ear that "if only Kenny and Hahn are gone, THEN I can do my job!"

He's a walking, talking peter principle. When you look at his career holistically, he can't scout. He can't trade. He can't develop. He can't sign free agents. He can't hire.

He's so desperately clinging to the guys from the Crochet deal (which any GM should have nailed) after botching the Cease deal. He's banking on Hahn's last acquisition in Quero.

I'll actually give him developing Sosa. Sosa finally looks like a win.

Rays could only dream of having a trade chip like Cease

Caught looking the at bat before. He's in-between in a new way. He's unsure if he should attack or wait. Not good.

He gets absolutely no extension on his swing.  I talked to a couple of well-regarded hitting coaches this past weekend and they couldn’t believe how bad his swing is.

Hahn actually understood how to acquire top talent. His problem is he had no idea how to fill in the middle and/or develop depth.

Crazy to think the Sox could have Crochet, Sale, Cease, rodon and Chris bassitt in their rotation today if they simply spent money on their guys and developed position players.

Still generating huge bat speed, but not sure how long it's in the zone for.

If we really did hit on Shane Smith that would be huge. We just need to find some damn hitters, specifically power hitters.

Yep, gonna have to draft some and then sign some free agents when the time Is right

Barring injury, zero doubt in my mind smith is a legit mlb starter. A #3 possibly!

My concern is I think they needed to find 2 starters out of this group and I think I'm out on the rest- even burke who I liked a bit to start the year. Without drastic changes to that fastball command he's done.

I mean seriously.  To pretend that this was somehow the worst situation in the history of baseball to succeed at is laughable.  With all of the crazy stuff that has happened in 125 years of the game, the Sox are not special in having a bad team getting a GM fired.  In fact, you might be shocked to learn, that is usually why GM positions are usually open.

Schultz, Hagan Smith, Shane Smith, XXX, Martin

Is a pretty good rotation if we can find another above average starter.

Hagen smith can't throw strikes. I'm pretty worried about that guy. Schultz will be a dude though. Grant taylor >>>hagen imo

I never really liked Martin and his stuff has taken a step back from last year. He might be a decent swing man but I don't think he establishes himself as a bonafide starter.

Davis Martin is another guy who has always been a mid to back of rotation guy at his peak.
